The main Smriti Soudha is a monument in Bangladesh and it is said to be famous for the importance of National Martyr’s Memorial. This monument is built to signify the sacrifice and valor of all those who died for Bangladesh Liberation war. Similar to such Smriti Soudha, we have one of that in Haldia too. That is also built in order to give respect to the entire warrior who fought for the independence of the place.  This place will help you to get in to revolutionary mode.

We have Smriti Soudha in Haldia and that is seen when you move from Mechada to Haldia. There is a four storied yellow colored building that you can see. It consists of all paintings, sculptures of the time of freedom movement. You can also find a huge library that has all books of those times. There are two kinds of bricks used, concrete for building and red bricks for pavements and other structures. There is different red pavement along, which the tourist may be required to walk if they want to reach axial monument. This monument was inaugurated in 1986 by Sri Binoy Chaudhary.
